In the present society, the rate of automation has gradually increased. Arduino is doing a great job in that. Let's discuss what is Arduino through this blog.
What is Arduino?
Simply we use Arduino in the IoT field to make the AI base innovations. IoT stands for the Internet of Things. In the future, our whole day is going to run based on the internet. By things like Arduino, Raspberry, etc we can do the automation in the industrial field as well as in day to day life.
Arduino is a great thing if you are a beginner to the IoT field because when we use it it gives us the knowledge about how programs run, what is robotics etc...
Where does Arduino use?
Arduino is mainly used in the robotic field. By using Arduino we can make simple innovations like,
- Robots
- Smart dust bins
- Smart fans
- Lighting setup
- Bluetooth cars etc...
Who uses Arduino?
Arduino is mainly used by school students to improve their skills from small things. Also in some places, we can find Arduino in industrial usage too. But normally in industrial usage, people use Raspberry pi, Pilot things.
How to use Arduino?
First of all, you need to have an Arduino board. If you are a beginner Arduino UNO R3 is a good board to start. There are lots of Arduino boards that you can find in amazon like,
- Arduino UNO R3
- Arduino NANO
- Arduino Mega
- Arduino Pro mini etc..
How to code an Arduino?
To do Arduino programming you have to download the Arduino IDE. To download click here. You can use either the online compiler or the downloaded IDE.
What are the other things you need?
If you are doing the Arduino programming it's better to use a breadboard and LEDs to check the sketch. To do projects you need sensors, motors, etc....
How to learn Arduino?
To learn Arduino simply you can go to a teacher or else there are so many Arduino tutorials by them. I'm also learned Arduino by watching those videos.
The below video will give you a small introduction to Arduino. (If you don't know Sinhala please use subtitles)
Below video will show you how to make a smart dustbin using Arduino (If you don't know Sinhala please use subtitles)
