Sri Lankan Senior National Chess Championship was started on 29th August 2020 and it will end on the 1st of Septemeber 2020. There are 7 rounds and around 16 players are participating under quarantine rules and regulations. There are no FIDE titled players are participating in the tournament. After the fourth round ends Peiris TDR and De Silva J I Ajantha are leading the tournament with 3.5 while Rupasinghe Sarath is on third place with 3 points.
